The Jordan Women’s Collective, Curating Spaces For Girls/Women That Were Not Easily Accessible Prior To Title IX. Our “Shooting For The Stars” Girl Experience @themuseamofscience Will Be A Very Memorable One.

For Title IX 50th Anniversary We Were Intentional On Celebrating The Strides We’ve Taken Thus Far. With The Company Of All The Amazing Young Ladies At @kenwoodbleed @littleblackpearlchicago We Educated Them On The Pivotal Movement & How It’s Impacted Our Lives Upward And Will Continue To For A Lifetime.

We Highlighted The Story Of Mae Jemison (First African American Black Woman To Go To Space) & Chicago Native. The Girls Experienced The Virtual Space Simulation That Was Inspired By Mae Jemison! Then We Continued The Fun & Got Messy With Lots Of Paint , Danced To Some Of Our Fav Songs, Took Endless Photos, Topped It Off With Pizza, Yummy!

My Favorite Part Was Interaction With The Girls, Recognized Some Faces I’ve Seen On The Court & Was Introduced To Some New Faces. All In All I Enjoyed Learning More About These Girls + What They Like To Do, What Lies Ahead For Them, Future! Remember There’s Nothing You Can’t Do, Dream Endlessly. Whatever It Is That’s On Your Heart, Go After It!
